Am I the only one surprised that the price of gold is not doing very well? Silver is down as well. I mean have you been selling your gold coins or are you going to continue holding? I have sold some right here on CT, I sold around 7 gold coins. That said, I'm not ready to sell more at all! What are your thoughts, will gold go up or is that a fantasy? Any comments??
just wait for the correction. MO The stock Market has been dropping for how many days? I wouldn't feed it with a sell off, we would all be in trouble.
I would caution against an over-reliance on short-term price moves. Rather, focus on the long-term picture of the ever-expanding US national debt, financial repression by the Fed to help service the debt, and the inflationary consequences that may well follow. I'm not selling anything.
Gold down $45 and silver down over a dollar this morning. Getting close to another buying opportunity.
Forced selling to cover losses in equity markets Leveraged holdings and futures trading move the needle Paper trades of PMs far outweigh our minimal physical holdings
Selling when you’re on the wrong side of a leveraged position isn’t manipulation It’s survival Margin clerks won’t get caught up until late this afternoon
Have you looked at the price that the American Silver Eagle Reverse Proof Set is being offered for over $500 on Ricks show and other shows. Some are over $700. I bought the American Gold Eagle one-tenth an ounce T-2 for $315 just before there was no T-1 available. Although the cost of the one-tenth ounce cost more per ounce than if you bought an Ounce, I like to keep things simple. I also wanted to get the 2021W American Gold Eagle One-Tenth ounce Proof Coin, Type 1 and can't find it anywhere.
Our gold bars and coins are a sight to behold. Then, our heirs will smile all the way to the market, okay... Our satisfaction, we won't be here so we will not know!
Should anyone be surprised that the Commodity Markets provide a 'bumpy ride'? I bought gold at $900, so I'll not start to be concerned until it hits $899. (I still prefer the color of silver) Just call me a contrarian...J.T.
