    Caracalla, Phoenicia (Tyre), Tetradrachm (27mm, 15.23 g). Struck AD 213-215. Laureate, draped, and cuirassed bust right / Eagle standing facing on club right, head and tail left, with wings spread, holding wreath in beak; murex shell between legs. Prieur 1550.

    Otacilia Severa (wife of Philip I) BI Tetradrachm of Antioch, Seleucis and Pieria. AD 244-249. MAP ΩTAKIΛ CЄOYHPAN CЄB, diademed and draped bust to left, set on crescent / ΔΗΜΑΡX ЄΞΟΥCΙΑC, eagle standing facing on palm frond, head to left, with wings spread, holding wreath in beak; SC in exergue. RPC VIII Online Unassigned ID 29082; Prieur 327; McAlee 1087. 12.97g, 26mm, 6h.

    *This particular coin depict a very doe-like animal, but with a goatee. Many other examples of this coin depict a more goat-like animal and a few even depict what appears to be a bearded elk.

    Some descriptions say the animal on the obverse is a winged lion and not a griffin. It's still wrong.
