very sweet.. I said 65+ PL If it was any other date morgan I would call it 66-67 easy.. as for PL hard to call from pics but it doesn't seem to have that deep deep mirror for dmpl.. Beauty of a coin
Went with 66PL. Kind of a semi-educated guess, honestly. Let's see where it ends up. Probably a gorgeous coin in hand.
Luster breaks, and certainly not anything to take the coin out of gem status. As I said above, there is light Golden toning, and a few luster breaks, but 64? Not exactly.
First impression 66, though enlarging the pics does show something on the cheek that might ding the grade a bit....somewhat PL, but the obverse might be borderline for the designation....voting 66, no PL, but very attractive whatever it grades, I like Morgans that don't look freshly dipped.
Ok, not much traffic on this one. Did not grade PL. I think the reverse is definitely PL, but I am not convinced that the obverse is PL. I do think it is conservatively graded, given that it is an OGH. It could easily have gone 66. It looks really attractive in hand, with the light Golden toning on the obverse and reverse.
I said 65 maybe 66 but I think the TPG left off the PL. In the original photos the reverse is definitely PL and the obverse is sure close enough.
