but does that make it a good investment ? most dealers don’t care about mintages just the bullion content.
Au contraire. Dealers don't care about mintages when they're buying. They absolutely care about mintages when they're selling.
That’s the rub, it’s just bullion, so paying excessive premiums doesn’t make sense it’s like buying a graded coin, who cares if it’s MS 70 when your paying a double or even triple premium, no thank you ☺️
Well yeah, your supposed to Sell at a premium...not buy at a premium. But you knew that already. I do like me some variety. How's that coin/pawn? shop across from the Edgewater in Laughlin doing? I'm ready for a road trip.
You're right, they don't care when they're buying but most care when they're selling for sure! Nice collection!
That's the one. Laughlin Jewelry & Loan on the casino drive. Had to Google it couldn't remember the name...
I have also started a 1/10 OZ Platinum collection, unfortunately, there are not nearly the amount of designs as compared to gold so I will throw them in here so here's an APE.
Nice looking platinum eagle. I've only had one and gave it to my Dad for fathers day one year...it just happened to be the 2004 W proof and pick of the litter. I guess I'll inherent it someday. The only other platinum I have is a super nice 1/10 kookaburra.
There is not the best selection right now in platinum 1/10 Oz coins, the Britanic is about the only other choice out there on the bay so maybe that will be my next one..LOL
I am loving this!! kind of a fantasy collection for me! I've been considering something similar but am still working on filling in my other "fantasy" collections!!
