A 2.7 gram nugget from somewhere in California. It’s olive-brown color in hand. One side is smooth (top photo) and the other side (bottom photo) is rougher. A nice small Specimen.
Is that like somewhere in Texas? We bought a gold VW beetle from a guy who was passing through Arizona in the 80ies and had engine trouble. All he wanted was enough for a bus ticket to California and a few meals. He had a signed title in his name so we were GTG. We didn't find out till later that the license plate was off his ex girlfriend's car and the beetle hadn't been registered in 10 years. (The makings of a george strait song) Nice nugget, I plucked a few small pieces from the ground this morning but they aren't even picture worthy.
Your beetle story is a lot like one from my ex wife. Even the small nuggets can amount to an ounce if you save enough of them.
