Does any one know why the 2007 W $25 gold eagle is selling for less than the 2008? I thought the 07 had a lower mintage. Unless somehow the actual statistics are incorrect.???????

can we taste mint gold products down another bracket?. between $1,050.00 to $1,099.99. currently gold traded at $1,112.40 an ounce.

if it happens. then the prices will be:
buffalo gold proof - $1,360.00 - equal to inital offer price.
spouse gold proof - $704.00
spouse gold unc. - $691.00

UHR double eagle sales end december 31. two more weeks from now. it might be lucky enough to get it at $1,438.00 each.

 

Wanted to know everybody's opinion if the 40,000 mintage of the Proof 09 Buff is low enough to make it worthy investment. Do you think it will fetch somewhere around the 07' Buff proof?

 

I hope so as I have 4 of them but I don't think they will go as high as fast... I think it really depends on when they stop selling them cause it is 40,000 now but they may sell 100K before they stop, who knows.

the bull looks like it will come back to initial mint offered price at $1,360.00. the platinum eagle and UHR double eagle escape the down turn. because the mint don't sell them anymore and the UHR end december 31.

no way jose. the 2006w to 2008w AGE unc. gold still going up even the bullion gold down. check your latest cdn newsletter. that's why i told everybody to buy collector's items instead of bullion coins.

 

now apmex AGE bullion one ounce is bidding at $20.00 over spot and asking at $70.00 over spot. while the AGB is asking at $110.00 over spot. the fractional AGE remain the same.
