It took me years to put all these special serial number star notes together. I spent a lot of money but its worth doing it as I enjoy collecting them. Unique "Star-Radar" on any North Africa Silver Certificates. *01077010A Serial Number 2 on a $2. Lowest star on any Legal Tender $2. *00000002A "Double Quad Star" on early 1928 $50. G00009999* Second lowest serial number star on any $20 Gold Certificates. There are 365 days in 1 year. *00000365A Rare Silver Certificate "Star-Repeater". *13641364A
Very nice collection. I have always loved red seal $2 notes and with that serial...it's about as good as it gets!
You did what you enjoy and it was fruitful...not many of us can say that...excellent and hard-won! My inspiration for the day...
I'm partial to the ten also but all are very appealing. Congratulations, what's next for you? Thanks for sharing them.
cool collection. What is the "Serial Number 2 on a $2. Lowest star on any Legal Tender $2. *00000002A" worth ?
I'll bet that one can fetch something. Be glad too in that grade of circulation a corner wasn't torn off to bring some bettor luck at the window...
I don't know what it is...but red seals have always been REALLY cool to me. I want to get one of the $100 red seals one day.
The bright red seals are usually Legal Tender Notes. The darker red/maroon labels tend to be National or Fed notes. But you probably already know this. The Legal Tender $100 notes are surprisingly more affordable than I thought they would be, if you consider somewhere between $300 - $1700 affordable for an EF - UNC example. You might be able to get a VF or lower for not too much over face.
