Uhh..the New York opening (and close) was interesting..but not the way I thought.

At any rate, there's a raft of predictions for a short correction and a range next year of $1300-1350 gold in 2010 with the Euro trading at about $1.60.

    We all have those days.

With all the media on Tiger Woods, he's had enough. He feels his image has been tarnished.

So he's changing his name to Cheetah.

It will be interesting if gold stays above the 30 day MA. If not, I suspect it will consolidate in the $1050 - $1100 range then move higher after the New Year. (My New Year Contest guess was $1068 :D)

The dollar is strengthing on an improving economy, but inflation fears should keep a floor under gold for a while. I suspect prices will continue to rise through the first half of 2010, but begin a sustained down trend in late Summer, early Fall...in anticipation of higher Fed rates after the elections.

That's my guess...it'll be interesting to see what actually happens?

Yes, I have much to learn...

Shame on me, here I thought I actually had some sound fundamentals about our monetary policy...

No worries! Just give PMs a little time to go back up and you can say you always had the fundamentals. :D

Don't feel bad its not a real loss untill you decided to sell if ever. All you really lost was time and maybe a little confidence. It happens to everyone. If you want to feel better about yourself watch cnbc the last friday of every month when they do there bad trade segemnt and the pundits get clalled out on national televions.

Wow, that's interesting, didn't think anyone would want to be called out on TV. That would definitely be entertaining.

The Kramer issue earlier this year was entertaining as well, especially when he went on Jon Stewart's show.
