1976 Gold coin 1776-1976 US

    Hey everyone,

    Saw this coin that´s in a auction. It´s a gold coin that weighs 1,6 grams of gold and it´s from 1976.

    I cant seem to google my way to it or ebay. It´s in the orginilan packigin from the mint.

    Any one have a idea on the prices on these conis ?

    The US Mint did not make gold coins from 1933-1986. This is not a US Mint product (plating not withstanding). If you post pictures we can try to tell you what it is.

    Just a bump. I don't have a picture, but I need to know anything you guys know about this coin. It will say 200ty anniversary, and it is from a private mint. It's 1oz gold, I assume it's worth it's melt, especially seeing as how it came from a private mint.
    Any help or suggestions would be helpful.

    The back of the coin says " American Revolution Bicentenial " and " We The People ".
    Front says " Life Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness " and 1776 -1976. Statue of Liberty on the front. Back is Eagle Looks very real. I have the same coin in what appears to be 1/2 ounce Gold
