Now don't get me wrong we have been buying more of it lately here at the shop.... but the last couple of days we have really picked up. Today I purchased 10 100 oz bars and over 500 junk silver dollars total from several different people. I have a feeling as gold and silver continue to make the news every night people are going to start finding more and more of it to liquidate. To me it seems like it may have already started. HANG ON!!
I'm curious, what is the going price for junk silver dollars [buy and sell prices]? This isn't an offer to do either.
depends on grade... slicks are one price.... Goods to Fines are one price VF-XF are another price and AU's are more. They are melting at about $14.68 each. No problem goods-fines should be selling in the $16-$17 range.
i was talking to one of my many friends latley he just sold one ton of silver ok he was paying for land not that he wanted to he agrees silver will go a lot more before this rally ends so yes the poor mans gold will out shine gold gold might take the lime light but it is all ways the under dog that comes out on top in my op
Isn't this the great thing about a forum. Ya never know for sure if someone's trying to be cute, or kidding, and you should chuckle ... or if they're serious, and you should wonder if they are right. Guess that's why this is no place to do any serious research.
Thanks for the news from "the front". The increased silver sales could be holiday shoppers getting some extra cash to spend.. As gold goes, so will silver, for better or worse. The resilence this month of PM's has been nothing short of amazing..which worries me.
If you find a place that will tell you the future price of gold or silver, let me know. Nobody knows what will happen in the future.
I recall the great "silver melt" when silver went to $50 [briefly]. People were selling junk coins, silver tea sets, jewelry, everything they didn't want that had some silver in it. The amount was so great that I wonder just how much silver is out there to be melted at current prices. I would think that it would take much higher prices than we have today to bring substantial amounts to market regardless of the anectdotal evidence.
