No disagreement there. It’s use as a currency will likely always be limited in the big picture or things and concentrated more in Asia though I wouldn’t be surprised to see more places start offering it as an option for paychecks.

I know they they gave it the go ahead, but hadn't seen if they had implemented it yet. That a major city to do it, others will surely follow

It’s growing very rapidly here in Las Vegas
many liquor and convenance stores are
installing ATM,S where you can buy bit coin
making it more accessible to the general
public is the key, even pay-pal is selling it
that’s where I have my account, the ease
    of use is incredible.

Who tried? As far as I can tell, the only ones trying are turning blue in the face.

There's still no telling whether it will be excessive internal pressure (overbuying) or an externality (government regulation, hacking, competition, power outage, etc) that will deflate or, yes, even pop BitCoin . . . but I think we can rest assured, it will have a lesser following than gold pressed latinum.

Something crazy low like a dollar I believe.

I'm not in any crypto so take this with a grain of salt. I would think buying Bitcoin through PayPal would be a higher minimum just because of PayPal fees/commissions.

I haven’t done it but their page says as little as 1 dollar to start. I’m assuming they probably get their fees by over charging. They should be able to do any amount but I haven’t done their signup to see exactly how they do it.

$1 , I usually save up about $150 and distribute that between the big 4 or
the one that’s on a dip.

Yeah, just another way to keep us in the dark. This crypto investing with exchanges, wallets, etc aren't confusing enough :(

My guess would be it’s easier to do it through PayPal, but you get better rates on the exchanges

That's my very basic understanding of it as well.

While I generally don’t really like PayPal, if it’s a small fee it might be worth it to do it there for convenience

No one is talking about a BTC wallet, keep it simple, pay pal offers investing in the platform and its safe to boot :)

That's the point. Is the password the same as the wallet, meaning if you lose it your Bitcoin is gone? Is the password retrievable? Can you buy and sell the Bitcoin? Are there fees on the buy AND sell side? Are the fees higher than exchange fees?

What's simple to some who've been actively trading crypto isn't necessarily simple to others.

Its not, the wallet is for someone that uses BTC for purchases, also called Bit Coin Cash, and with working with in the block chain itself, I do not have a wallet at this
time, maybe later on right now, keeping things simple ny only investing in the
    platform.

    also to answer your questions:

if you have a wallet and dont protect you can lose it and its gone forever !
there are simple strategies to avoid this however, and I would only get a wallet
if you were actually buying several things, other then that there is plenty of
money investing in the block chain currently at 63,240,40 I have allot in
at 38,000 you do the math, its a very substantial gain ! but always do your
home work and understand the risk before investing.

I buy and sell thru pay pal probably the easiest platform to buy and sell BTC
to give you an idea on fees for a $50 purchase iy will cost you about .95 cents
but it is a sliding scale so the more you invest the higher the fee, but you dont
have to be a millionaire to invest.
