Exactly! And use one of those leaf blowers on the floor to clean it. Don’t even sweep it because that could leave hairline scratches and reduce the value.
If the epoxy is applied correctly, they will stay lustrous for decades. Oxygen is what turns them brown, and if they are sealed they are not exposed to oxygen.
That's a very nice looking floor that a lot of hard work went into. I don't have that kind of patience (nor that many cents ). Incredible work and a definite conversation piece for visitors! That reminds me of a Coin Shop I once visited that had a cent wall that the owner had the Guinness Book of World Records verify at the time. It was huge and took up an entire wall of the store. The store apparently moved in 2016 and it doesn't look like the cent wall was reconstructed at the new location. I was able to find this graphic online of the old wall.
That's cool as heck. I just went to the main page to check something, and this is now the featured article on the main page! Very nice. That floor is going to be GORGEOUS!
Even if they do, which I don't think they will within the next 20 years, it'll be an issue for the next owner
By far, one of the best one cent ideas that has every been put together! Amazing, you are quite an artist!
