Agreed and as you say, they are walking...but look how long it took us to go from crawling to walking to running to sprinting....I don't think it will take the Chinese (or anyone) as long as it did the first time....they learn fast. Probably not an issue for me, but my kids and their kids....

 

gold break all time record high this very early morning (new york time) at $1,124.00 per ounce. then the dollar recover and the future stock market down. that bring the gold down too. currently is about $1115.30 per ounce.

 

gold at $1109 currently. Wow, it's taking quite a beating from last night!

Thought it was going to be $1150 when I woke up this morning!

 

Very hard to predict so far out in the future what will happen, but I think the rest of the world will become more like us (capitalistic) and we will also learn some valuable lessons from Asia (like don't spend like there's no tomorrow).

My hope is that an increasing number of well-educated, more prosperous citizens world-wide will result in fewer conflicts and more productive activities that will raise the physical and mental well-being of a significant percentage of the global population. :smile

 

Yes, this is a very exciting time for all coin collectors not just gold coin or bullion collectors but all coin collectors. The dollar is doing well and gold is doing better than it ever has!! That is truly exciting!!! Not my coin, mine is just a 1/2 sovereign. I just got a bit caught up in the excitement and I posted this pic.

Its a nice thought, but Wall Street is full of well-educated, more prosperous citizens and MOST of them seem only interested in becoming more prosperous regardless of the cost....its the "Golden Rule"...

 

Yeah, there are definitely the greedy guys, but the era of using leverage (easy credit & margin) to take you to treasure island is gone and the iron fist of new government regulations will make it more difficult for these guys to bend the rules.

As Winston Churchill once said: "The combination of democracy & capitalism is the worst system possible...except for all others."

right now they are talking about $2,000.00.

 

december future climb to near $1,130.00 an ounce in tokyo.

 

gold open strong and higher at hong kong.

 

G o l d break record high again in hong kong.

 

gold at $1,131.40 per ounce.

 

with this kind of scenery and optimistic. positive commends and strong buying. i will not satisfy. if gold doesn't trade between $1,200.00 to $1,250.00.
