i believe so.

I can't find anything on the mint's web site that supports this claim.

 

Me neither....only says Buffalo proof fractionals and 4-pc sets and Uncirculated coins will not be made and thats old news. The Mint HAS NOT said anything about 2009 being the last year.........yet.

I think the Buffalos will continue at least to 2011.....

I thought it was just for the fractionals, however the Mint may not be able to find gold proof planchets or keep up with demand on the UNC, than I can see them backing out on making the proofs just like the did this year on the ASE's.

 

I want a reverse proof buffalo!
