you are always welcome krispy. are you planning to buy some fractional bullion gold eagle?. i should said 1/2 oz and 1/4 oz might be good.

I agree 1/2 or 1/4 are good. I will get a Proof AGB first then work on AGE fractional in these sizes if available at years end.

good krispy. because there are no fractional for buffalo. no proof, no bullion and no (w) uncirculated. no eagle (w) fractional too. the only fractional are the eagle proof and eagle bullion.

several thousands of this NGC MS70 american eagle bullion one ounce gold uncirculated coin were being offered at e-bay. i think big dealers bought a lot from u.s. mint and send them to slab. the remainding (below ms70) were being offer to us. that's mean if you order from dealer. i don't think you can get a MS70 this time. that also apply to buffalo bullion gold. anyway. just buy collector's proof gold directly from u.s. mint. so that you will have a change to get proof70. just a reminder.

Awesome trick Elaine! Although if you check now, Apmex appears to have 616 of the 2009 Buffalo bullion coins... I don't think they will be very limited and will just grab a few of the proofs and hope the mintage numbers stay below 100K :)

Historically all the $25.00-/1/2oz AME & Buffalo have been the lowest mintage coin, since 1988 when the mint offer the fractional

the mint should sealed individually all those tubes containing 20, 40 or 50 coin. so that when people buy a tube of gold coins. they will know if the dealers open it up or not for slab. also the mint should sealed all boxes containing 500 coin too. i mean special sealed that when someone open it up. we will know. is that fair?.

Yes, that is fair by my end of the deal. I fully expect someone to have cherrypicked coins before me but I'd like to know in regards to these pieces since it would be very easy to do. I think these are a waste of money, but a system like this in place might work if sealed from the Mint in this fashion.

With gold price inched up again. The fractional gold buffaloes and eagles will eventually move up too. One of the sleeper is 2008w american eagle unc 1/4 oz. Mintage at 9,200. It is the lowest of all eagles and buffaloes.

to yankee. why you have to sell it?. when the u.s.mint is no longer producing them. keep it for life or retire. the 06w gold eagle 1/2 oz should worth $1,100.00 right now.

    Thanks Elaine.

This coin, my '08 one ounce Buffalo Proof, and my 8-8-8 Prosperity set have really proven to be excellant buys.

Another new record high today! It's just gonna get better and better!

The listed price on the PCGS web sight is no where near that!. Dont people use PCGS price guides?

MMMMM I wonder why PCGS would even put a outdated price list on their sight?. I would think if they wanted to charge a fee to get a graded price they would have no free price list at all. Elaine is what you are saying is the "paid" price list shows a higher price at this time?. for instance the number on one of my half ounce "W" eagles is 79983 it is a ms 69. please PM me with the real price for this coin if you can. If it shows higher then the public list maybe I should subscribe!

no. you have to subscribe it to get the latest figures. it can be up and it can be down. the free price list listed is usually old.

Ok if you say so LOL But the published list must be REAL OLD as the listed price for that coin is much less then $1100. Don't get me wrong Elaine I am not questioning your word. I just find it strange they publish outdated prices like that. It seems to me to be useless for them to do so (MO). The listed price on the public PCGS list is just over half the amount of $1100. I guess I learned something new today! THANKS

it depend on the people in charge the publication. most newsletter and magazine don't updated their price list immediately. some in part or partial area. maybe they are not so professional in each area. or maybe it is a business. they give you a little change. so that you will continue to buy their publication. that's is why i keep updating the figures whenever i got it. i don't care you believe it or not. anyway. that is me.
