Depends, is it PCGS or NGC or some other TPG? $10 over spot for the 69 sounds about right, I would check e-bay historical sales for the 70 pricing. It will be different depending on who graded it.
Now it's becomming guesswork, but perhaps a $5-7 premium? The way I view it, I see ASEs tossed around carelessly pretty frequently, befitting their current status as mere bullion. If you can buy them slabbed from a reputable grading company at MS67+ levels, someday the premium might be higher than today, as well as the price of silver. Right now people don't seem to care much about the grade or grading ASEs except for MS70s which in my mind are the same as MS69s. 20 years from now this attitude might be entirely different, particularly if the series is discontinued. Awhile back I bought several ASEs that were slabbed MS65 at a price slightly below melt value. If they were raw they almost certainly would have sold higher than melt, so in this case the slabbing at a disappointing grade actually subtracted from the price of the coins. Amazing!
ok so $5-$7 for a MS68 $10 over spot for a MS69 and what about MS70's? I know I could just check E-bay for completed auctions and I did but I wonder if alot of that is just idiots bidding up or just people not seeing a great deal . so that's why I ask some of the experts in coins... YOU GUYS would say $65.00 for a 2007 NGC MS70 American Silver Eagle be too much or under valued by a lot or a little? Edit: also would PCGS be worth alot more then NGC? I don't know much about who or if either is better then the other

When NGC first came out they commanded a premium now NGC and PCGS are about equal , while ANACs , ICG ,and Dominion are good componies they trade at a discount because they've been sold and people are waiting to see how they will grade over the long run . rzage
For some reason, NGC appears to be the predominant slabber of ASE coins. You can find them slabbed by PCGS, ANACS or other TPGs, but for some reason NCG seems to be the company for these. If you are putting together a set for your collection, I wouldn't waste your time buying any MS68s. If you are going to buy a 68, I would buy it for spot or as mentioned above just a few dollars above - no more than $20. You can purhcase nearly all the ASEs except a few for $10-15 above spot in the MS69 range. These prices will run anywhere between $25 and $40. There are a few that will cost more, but usually can be had for around $65. These are going to be your 1996, 2000W Millennium, 2006W. If you are going to collect a complete set, you cannot forget about the West Point uncs from 2006, 2007 and 2008. Plus the 2000W Millenium and 2008W/Rev 2007. All these will make up a complete set. PCGS almost never gave out 70's on bullion silver eagles until recently due to milk spotting and NGC gave out many 70's. The best silver bullion eagles to get at close to spot if you can are the 2006 W, 2007 W and 2008 W coins.
