Put it up on ebay for $35 and watch it sell within the second you post it:greedy::greedy::greedy::):)

    I think $35 is a bit high isn’t it?

Even for brand new it seems a bit high.

Isn’t it closer to $32 for even brand new? So maybe $30 for this?

    Wow that’s crazy!

It seems like premiums seem to be high even with spot price ~$27/oz. That’s like $8/oz premium. I could’ve sworn they were lower than $8/oz above spot last year.

I wonder how much proof ASEs are going for. I have a 1988 & 1999 proof with COA & OGP.

Believe it or not I actually like the way the silver looks after it's had acid dipped on it and then the ugly colors cleaned away. It looks almost like poured silver and it's pretty cool imo.

I’d still rather have my brand new ASE but since I have this piece I figure whenever I want to try something out I can do it on this coin.

It’s the coin I used to practice dipping with before I tried on some of my ugly toned Canadian Silver Maple Leafs.

I also used toothpaste on it for the first time ever using toothpaste on a coin.

It’s excellent for teaching people how Silver acid testing works.

Sure there’s 90% culls out there to test but it works better with .9999 fine. It really turns bright blue or dark blood red depending on the test.

I have seen Libertads command the most premium don't they weigh the most and have a higher silver content than most other 1oz bullions?

    I have a 1986 Libertad and it’s 1 oz like the rest.

I think people like it because it’s thick. It feels nice in the hand. It’s smaller than an ASE or Maple Leaf: It’s about the size of a half dollar. That’s why I think people like them.

Plus the lettering on the edge is nice.

Give to your friend who damaged it as a birthday or Christmas gift.

Nah he isn’t really into coins.

I’m just going to use my ASE as a piece to mess around with.

Like if I want to show someone how acid testing works.
