    Nice, @akeady ... I understand that of the Pre-211 BCE Denarii Reform, that this AR is the more difficult to find of the whole series. Very nice example, and congrats!

    Early Sangam Pandyas of Madurai- Square shaped copper coin showing an elephant on obverse and their royal symbol fish (stylized) on the reverse. circa 150 BC.

    Here's a rare Otho - RIC 2 denarius. Apparently 7 of these are known, all from the same dies.

    I picked it up in the sale of coins which had been analysed/mutilated for a paper on the composition of Otho denarii. This one came off lightly, having had only a tiny hole drilled into an edge and so not visible in this photo'. Other more common denarii had up to 1/3 of the coin removed and melted :D In the cause of research!
