Can't speak for the new one but the old one was and is known far and wide as one of a coin doctor's favorite tools ;)

But if you use the stuff on a coin, and that coin somehow happens to get run through the sniffer at NGC or PCGS - it aint gonna get a clean grade that's for sure !

If however the coin is not run through the sniffer, and almost all are not, and you knew how to use the stuff, the graders at the TPGs can and will be fooled. And the coin will probably be graded much higher than it deserves.

What does a coin conditioner do as opposed to a coin cleaner?

Coin conditioners take gunk off like the cleaner, however, they leave a coating on the coin that supposedly fights off corrosion. I don’t think they are nearly as abrasive as the cleaners.

How does that stuff work on hair? I've got a slight bald spot working its' way in on the top of my head. Will it decrease the possibility of a monk tonsure?

You would probably be graded Details: cleaned and damaged :)

Do you know if the old Blue Ribbon has been tied to any adverse health effects? I may try looking for a bottle, I guess it never expires.

Speaking for myself, I'm gonna keep whatever I have even if I turn out looking like this with my coin album!

After years in the military with a shaved head it don't matter much to me. I still keep it shaved. But I would rather look like a serial killer than a monk.
