I was expecting to see a banged up ASE so it ain't doing too bad. Someone will at least pay spot for that. It's just a little bit of tarnishing but looks like the entire design of the coin is intact.
I actually cleaned it up the best I could. Here are the before & after. When I originally posted this I thought maybe any dealer would refuse to pay a cent for it since it looked so banged up that they wouldn't find anyone who wanted to buy it.
It’s pretty banged up though. It has a bunch of acid damage. But I think I cleaned it up pretty well.
Better to be "just a generic silver round" than worthless like I feared. A generic silver round still has value ^_^. Frankly I would've been happy if someone had said my ASE was worth $10 and a generic silver round is worth more than that XD.
