    Obverse- Goddess Ardochsho/Lakshmi seated facing in half lotus position, with Nagari legend 'Ka to left 'lasara' to right.
    Reverse- King standing facing and sacrificing at altar holding trident, with Nagari legend 'jadeva' bottom right.
    Nice full legend coin.

    Gurjara Pratiharas, Mihara Bhoja I, 836-890 AD.
    Obverse shows a boar form of lord Vishnu holding the globe in his nose to protect the world from demons, on the reverse it reads Srimad Adivaraha.
    This kingdom was the first to prevent an Islamic invasion from the Abbasid caliphate, hence the name Pratihara, aka gatekeepers!

    Not sure what you mean, since this is from a month ago, but @NewStyleKing did post an Athenian tet in response with a gorgon in the reverse right field.
