Agreed - I have quite a few 1 oz. .999 silver art bars, purchased at a premium before spot price went above $20 - although LCS won't pay a premium for those, they can be sold above melt on eBay and elsewhere - I imagine mine are worth a couple of dollars more than the original price paid.

You're correct. I've sold quite a few throughout the years and they've always sold for over melt!

any type of silver is good but if I had to single a coin out it would be the walking liberty half dollar. that is my current favorite.
