Ii need some info on how the process of grading a coin is. I jush started coin collecting and i might have a found a really nice coin.
Step 1 - Post good clear photos of both sides of it here first. We can let you know if it's worth the money to send it in or not.
Just put them in this post or don't. You won't get any decent feedback if you don't though. Good luck.
@Eduardmagdaleno: if it is a United States coin you are talking about, you might find the PCGS/Photograde standards useful.
Just curious. If you posted it on Google, why not post it here. PCGS also has YouTube videos on coin grading and other coin related topics.
This is your post you are asking us to look at. There are no images to be seen anywhere in your entire thread. And typing into Google brings no results either that I can find. It is not a difficult process to post your images here
Oh, I believe I found it. It is the 1999D, doubled die obverse, doubled die reverse cent, that was struck on a flying eagle cent that itself was struck on a copper coated zinc cent planchet. I kid you not. This one would definitely have to be authenticated!
Just go back to the original posters first posts. The coin was posted when he was still "young mag". 1999 d ddo ddr error coin | Coin Talk
