just bought another 4 pc of 1/2 oz. the mint did the right thing to freeze the prices. because the mint prices are quite high. now the prices is alright.

 

2008w american eagle 1/4 ounce uncirculated $10.00 gold coin is the lowest mintage (9,200 pc.) of all american eagle gold series since 1986. either in proof, burnished unc or bullion unc. 2008w 1/4 ounce is gonna hit at least $1,500.00 to $2,500.00 in the near future.

She is saying that, due to the low mintage, the coin will transcend mere bullion status and become a rare coin at which point the value will derive not from the metal of the coin itself but the rarity at which the coin is found.

last change to buy 2008w american eagle unc 1/2 ounce from the mint. i think most likely is sold out. just try it anyway.
