Browsing around this evening and came across this item and almost fell out of my chair after oxygen therapy and chest compressions performed by my "nurse" (a.k.a. spouse) https://www.usacoinbook.com/item/bu-1861-indian-head-cent-434832/
Not by those images....yes a high quality ..graded by a TPG May bring moon money....those photos and raw no thanks....reason being 1 could be a fake from China, two if you had a coin that nice why isnt it graded? The reason it wont grade.
I think it's getting either "cleaned" or "questionable color" possibly both. The strike is detailed and looks nice, the fields are ROUGH. He's got it priced so high though I Don't think there will be any confusion over it. anyone that has $20k to blow on it willy nilly likely deserves to get ripped off if they look at that and think "gee, that's a good deal!" If he priced it around $1000-$1500 range I'd be concerned for someone though lol.
Coin is real, images are not good, actual grade impossible to determine, if I was buying from those image I would not pay any more than AU money at best. Seller is dreaming or casting for a sucker. Remember you can ASK any price you wish when selling. An asking price doesn't mean anything.
Like most would say and have said if it was that nice why isn't graded? I wouldn't touch it. If you really want a high grade Indian then buy one from one of the big auction houses or well known dealer. And even then not unless it has been certified by either NGC or PCGS.
Here is the 1861 cent from my "Civil War era cent collection"." It is a PCGS MS-64 with an Eagle Eye sticker.
