the cdn bid and ask prices are for 2006 AGE (w) unc. series. well, the 2008 should be better than 2006. but the mint are still selling them.

i wonder why people buying the last 1/10 ounce of american eagle proof gold coin at $162.95 each. why not wait till jan.12,2009. the mint might lowering down the price to $135.50 each.

average prices of gold down from $856.19 to $835.60. but the platinum mint prices stay the same. last week average prices of platinum was $950.25 and this week is $961.00.

eagle gold unc - $1,178.00
eagle gold proof - $1,185.00
buffalo gold proof - $1,210.00
eagle platinum proof - $1,292.00

which one you will buy?.

for me: (1) if i choose eagle gold only. then i choose eagle gold proof.
(2) if i choose eagle gold proof and buffalo gold proof. then i choose which ever the lowest mintage.
(3) if i choose eagle and platinum all together. i choose platinum proof. simply platinum can go way up in case.

 

Humn, good question. I would go with Platinum at this point. Gold is a little over valued in the short term and do see it going down to the $800's short term. Platinum on the other hand, is highly undervalued vs gold.... but doesnt look as pretty. =)

Currently buying Silvers from special offers and all under $15. Platinum coins looking good too.

 

When are the 09's coming out? dont see them on usmint site yet.

you bought one. i bought 10. my total is 23 for that one. i did cancel another 17 before at a lower price. due to my bank cd not due yet. i plan is to have 40.

 

it look like the mint do not want to increase the prices of gold products as of this time. let's see a few more hours. usually it will tell us by this time around. like product is not available.
