That is a great ship picture on that coin! Break bulk freighter with lots of rooms, probably carried some passengers in addition to a crew of 50 or so.

Yes, I sailed on many such ships. I think they are not around anymore; most ships now have small crews and no passenger accommodations. Here is a Thai commemorative 20 baht, BE 2538/1995 Ministry of Finance.
