This is a scan of my latest pickup. Scanners do not show luster very well but I think my scanner picked up the image well. The Mint did a good job on this issue.

Thought it had some nice color to it, so I figured why not:

I almost tagged you as I knew you’d appreciate it. I knew it was the RPD when I bought it as the seller knew too. I thought the price was fair for a coin that’s clearly a 65+. And it’s pretty

From the CT fundraiser. Not very valuable, but still a neat piece as Franklins are one of my favorites. Plus a few other neat goodies that I will keep secret. Thanks!! @lordmarcovan

Thanks for doing your part to help the site. There is no need to keep the "secret goodies" secret on my account, unless you just want to.

1853-O gold dollar. I probably paid too much, but liked the low mintage numbers.

Got a piece for my near bullion 12 piece gold type set (trying to keep around spot. Spot plus shipping here :) ) . Seller pictures in a PCGS unc details holder. 2569a25b-108f-4fc6-b863-eda470c2e086.jpg d30061db-2c93-4813-a998-956dc758dc8f.jpg

I have acquired the earliest cent I need for my type set. This 1798 fits the Draped Bust slot. It also finishes the first page of the Type Set album. I actually prefer the wear and corrosion. I want an early coin to look like one, even if I choose the other coins for how faithfully they demonstrate the designer's intentions.

You can see the completed page here.

The other early cent for the type set is this 1812 Classic Head cent. According to my local coin ship, this is the hardest coin in the type set.

It was part of a deal where I sold off my 1820 cent and purchased this and two others, including the 1835 half dime in post #26415 and a 20 cent piece (yet to be shown). I had to add $30 cash but I was fine with that!

You can see the completed page here. The color progression of the four large cents worked out pretty well.

This one arrived this morning. Needless to say, a Morgan proof was on my bucket list. The 1888 had 833 minted.:woot:

Got a couple new coins today. First an 1838 half. Never had one, so I bought one of them.

The other is a funky 1886-O Morgan Dollar.
