1948 NICKEL REVERSE TILTED

    I know the reverse on coins sometimes get tilted and also there is a degree on how
    much the tilt is ( 10%-13% ? ) before it really matters or not, but curious because
    this reverse seems quite a bit tilted.....What do you guys think?

    Technically it is called rotation. The amount of rotation usually determines how interesting they are. In this case you found it and it is yours. The degree of rotation doesn't matter unless you want to sell it. Someone will come along and dictate the mint tolerance for rotation. Nice coin.

    Nice rotated Nickel. Certainly more than usual but still in the accepted range. It's definitely a keeper.

    It's either 10 degrees or 170 degrees. Big difference.

    TheFinn thanks for your estimate ( 10 - 170 degrees ) I have to agree there is a big difference from 10 degrees to 170 degrees!:rolleyes:
