I found this coin which seems to have two extra instances of UNITED and several extra columns in the Northwestern corner of the coin. What caused this anomaly?
I will take more pictures and post them promptly. The markings appear to be quite different than the die/feeder scrapes shown on the linked page. I will present you with better photos. Also the additional presence of two instances of UNITED below the first seem to rule out the suggested analysis, but I am at fault for providing poorly lit photographs and shall remedy this in just a few minutes.
Looks like feeder finger damage as @alurid said Here is a recent thread. Compare the marks to your coin. https://www.cointalk.com/threads/1994p-cent-reverse-planchet-error.363395/#post-4635182
I want to agree with @alurid as well. I only need proof that feeder finger damage or die scrapes can create duplications of the details on a particular die. I am going to attempt to take a more detailed photo to show the additional features aside from the feeder lines/columns (whatever they might be). The additional United and then another is very clear when viewed in person.
Agree, this coin looks very similar to the 1994p...looks like it continues to the opposite rim...also, maybe some doubling (shelf ?) in ONE CENT ?...
Much better photos. I note that your coin looks to be struck with a tilted die due to there being a flat edge on the right side of the coin and not on the left, both sides. This may be why the "T" in united has a very thin top apart from the low relief due to feeder finger abrasion.
I am not sure. That last picture seems to show some die damage of a completely different nature near the center of the coin and below the right side of the Memorial. Could we please see a couple more pictures of the reverse OUTSIDE of the plastic holder? Also, try taking one picture upright and then turn the coin about 90 degrees relative to the light source to get some contrast.
I'm also inclined to believe they are feeder finger scrapes. These can be mushy or very crisp and well defined. Most links post photos of a well defined scraping to give a better view of what one would normally come across.
I'm going to have to partially agree with the OP on his coin. It does show some evidence of die clash damage being removed from it. As for a counter clash I don't see it . I kinda agree with the ones that said feeder finger damage , that is what it looks like but it may just be from the die repair.
