Thanks geekpryde. I saw that site too. That dealer also has higher then average prices but again great looking Peace dollars. I always laugh when people get put down for paying guide prices or more for great looking coins. Below average Peace dollars are all over the place (and sell for below price guides). The real nice ones are beautiful and hard to find.

Also looking at a couple at HJB. They seem to stick to the nice ones as well.

Thanks for creating that list; great job and really easy to use.
I note that Steve Estes is retiring next month so his site will be shutting down.

Maybe this thread should be made into a sticky? Its a lot more easier for people to find.

    I always thought that, but I don't get a vote. ;)

I'm not sure how to vote a thread in. I always thought it was a mod that decides to make a thread a sticky.

What gets a website into the list of 'Dealers with GREAT Websites'? McMillen Numismatics doesn't appear to have any coins for sale.

This list is only like 6 months old, and already I've removed 6 dealers from the list today alone. They come and go so fast, even dealers that have put the effort into a nice site. I'm reviewing some more sites now for removal.

I have removed McMillen for now, and it they ever put coins back on their site, I would add it back. I'm surprised about this one, their site worked really well in the past.

Yes, that is true. It may not even be a mod, it may take @Peter T Davis himself.

If I had to guess why this was not a sticky, it's because I have restricted it to dealers with websites, as opposed to ALL dealers. CoinTalk may not want to sticky this, as it legitimizes some dealers over other more reputable dealers who do not have a web presence. The fact that a dealer is on my list does NOT mean they have been vetted by me or by others on CT, it simply means that at one point they sold coins online. I do recommend some dealers who I have personally done transactions with.

The purpose of this Master List is to give members here direct links to probably triple the number of sites they ever found on their own, in the hopes that they might discover a great coin dealer selling the perfect coin. To me, this list is still an excellent tool at connecting buyers with sellers, but other people here on CT may feel otherwise. I have had more than one member here tell me explicitly they would never use such a list, which seems a little odd, but then again, some people literally buy all their coins from a single source and do not venture forth.

I would love to get another "sticky" notch in my belt, regardless, as long as people bookmark this page, it will remain helpful to the people that choose to use it.

    Added 65 new sites!!! 01.31.2015

Most, but not all, are bullion and/or modern coin sellers. Some classic coin sellers in there too, take a peak, you very well might find that special coin.

    Updated 7.16.2020

I have removed A LOT of coin dealers. Out of business, merged with other dealers/Auction houses, bad websites, sites pushing malicious content, etc.

I am still in process of weeding out defunct websites. In last 5 years, many have gone under. I also converted most of the dealers URLs to the secure HTTPS version where available.

But this list has significant updates, so I wanted to get it posted ASAP.

Added two new dealers. Please let me know of any sites you love that I dont currently list.
