    A local coin dealer had a die made in 93 and sent it and the silver up to a private mint somewhere in Colorado to have silver rounds made. I think they are pretty neat,

    Fascinating! Was this part of a series on military installations or just a local dealer in Sierra Vista who made this??

    If you know of more of these, I'd be interested in buying one!

    Here's a pic of the Buffalo Soldier statue depicted on obverse. I hear it's since been moved away from the front gate to a different location on post.

    No it was just a local coin dealer who did it. They moved the Buffalo Soldier statue to the traffic circle over by the credit union. I do have a couple of extra rounds.

    Yes, that is a nice round. I was stationed at FH in the mid-90's and worked there for many years afterwards. What local dealer had these made?
