Did you read what I stated in my first post? Let me repeat it.. For any new members.. Please do not post anything that is not related to the topic on this thread. Don't ask me mint error or variety questions! I have given you enough information on the true 1969 Doubled Die. Please stop asking me. Sorry.
Found this one during my walk tonight. Such a shame it ended up road kill. Best I can make out it’s a 1974.
Call me crazy, but I really like the look of the obverse of this coin. Renowned artists spend months trying come up with something similar. Let me know via PM if you ever put her on the sales or trade block, VistaCruiser.
I really thought you were going to say you thought you saw an error there. I got a better idea. Just throw a penny on the street out in front of where you live. After a few days hunt it down. It will look just like this one. And only do this with one that's already ruined. I'd hate to see another decent non-zinc penny bite the dust. BTW - be sure the one you use is not a zinc so you get the same results as the one I posted that you like.
LOL, THIS explains so much!! Wow! I.hate to burst your bubble but none of this has anything to do with error coins! Wow! Lol
If you had any common sense you can see that this thread has nothing to do with Error Coins.. It was created in the Coin Chat forum. Read and learn! Keep it up and I will report your garbage every single time!
Hi all. @paddyman98 , love these threads. Walking along the beach promenade to work this morning, i found this FOG. Must have been recently lost, not dirty or damaged. I am going to put a FOUND sign in the window of our high street business office, see if anyone can describe it and then claim it.
UPDATE on my above post. Lady came into our office yesterday and accurately described the pendant she lost on the promenade. When i showed it to her she started crying and couldn't thank me enough. Made my day, and obviously hers as well.
Thanks. I like to think (probably naively these days) that if i lost something that had a lot of personal importance, someone would either hand it in somewhere or advertise somehow to try and locate the rightful owner
Some of us do more than others. (Link goes to an example, perhaps the example, of CoinTalk at its very finest.)
New FOG - Found 81 Cents next to a parked car in front of my building yesterday. Into my coin jar it goes for my next Coinstar coin dump visit ..!
