Hi, i was wondering where i can purchase silver bullion coins? I tried Monex & they were out of everything. I'm looking for Silver bullion Maple Leafs if i can find them.:headbang:
Check craigslist in each county / state. Call the precious metals refineries. I'm sure that there's a number of them in each state. If I was in your world, I'd sell you some, but I doubt if many people are going to sell silver now until the price gets back to reality.
A recent article I read indicates that gold and silver bullion is easy to buy but you have to wait several months for delivery. For a long term investment, that should be no problem. But if you want to flip it in the short term you'll have to be satisfied with buying it on paper.
If this just for bullion purposes go to your local coin shop and look for rounds & bars, and 90% junk silver. Most other forms are hard to come by right now without a huge premium relative to spot price. APMEX has a lot of 90% junk silver for pretty close to spot.
Most of the Maples I've seen recently were going for between $16 - $25. You can try online dealers such as Coast to Coast Coins or APMEX, but, as you said, they might be sold out. If you have access to a coin periodical, check the dealers in there until you find someone. Good luck!
Try this site .... he's a great seller and I see he has 2008 Silver Maples http://www.silver-eagle-coins.com/index.html
2009 Canadian Maple Leafs from APMEX ($15.62 at the time of this post): http://www.apmex.com/Product/44578/2009___1_oz_Silver_Maple_Leaf__2009_9_24.aspx
