I have only one French coin - La Semeuse:

 

Great coins/ medals Deacon Ray One of my relatives fought on the German side in that Battle/ then ended up getting drafted in WW2, lived till 1984.

That is a nice Joan of Arc medal.

The France Marianne-Rooster coin appeared on a French World War One poster.

The poster shows a French gold coin attacking a German soldier.
It was designed by Abel Faivre in 1915 and reads:
"Pour la France VERSEZ VOTRE OR" (For France, donate your gold)
"L'Or Combat Pour La Victoire" (The gold fights for Victory)

France, L'Alhambra, 1995, 100 francs 15 ecus, I love the depth on this coin so much.




The scratches are on the airtite. The coin itself is perfect. The funny story behind this coin is...... that it was a 10 year hunt on Ebay. when I finally got the coin that day 2 more came on Ebay the very next day. I was like WTH ?!
