My replacement for the 1982-D small date zincoln is so reflective it seems close to proof-like. I tried two different techniques to show it. First, a more angled lighting to capture luster. Then I used a more direct axial lighting and reduced the exposure several stops. I like them both. The upper one is more what I see in hand. The ruggedness of the second shot really appeals to me, though. It's good that I don't have to choose just one.
In hand when not in direct sunlight, the cent looks silver all around. In direct light, it is this amazing.
Yesterday I spotted one memorial Lincoln penny 2009 D. Color was different so I take him. Its 2009 Lincoln Memorial Cent:Formative Years Kentucky Satin Finish , weight 3.11gram Mintage: 784,614. For me it's nice catch. Not best grade, but still nice penny
