    I think you got it. I have spent some time with the origins of counting and these Phoenician numerals seem very much in the Sumerian tradition. Thanks for the hard work.

    Adding my latest Arados - first coin of the new year.

    Date: Aradian era date 116 below == 144-143 B.C
    Obv: Braided, bearded head of Zeus right, border of dots
    Rev: Ram of prow left; Phoenician letters nun and aleph above
    Size: 3.93g, 14.90mm
