Got from junk 90% to buffalo rounds, down to sunshines, silver towne and bitcoin. If any of these, or what is your favorite brand in Ag?

Silver American Eagles. I have a few other countries' 1oz. silver coins just for the variety.

I am a coin collector first. Pre-65 silver suits me best, however my ASE stacks seem to be getting out of control lately. Not much into the decorative silver rounds or bars. I like connecting with the history when I handle my coins.

That is why I like medals! A medal is intended to commemorate a person, place or event.

ASEs hold the best premiums around here (Chicago) but Canadian Maples would be next for my bullion choices.

Silver Krugs have come way down in price and are a good investment vehicle :)
Gold Krugs are my favorite over all though.

I have it all. ASE's, junk, silver dollars, rounds and bars, even a little foreign coinage. I buy what I can at good prices and add it to the collection that I really don't look at.

We've had dozens of threads like these over the years. Maybe once every couple months, I'd guess. Why can't you people find an old thread and discuss it there? Why start a new one?

Are you just too excited to focus the attention on yourself and post pictures of your newly acquired bullion that you start your own thread?

Come on, guys. Sometimes coming to cointalk is reading the SAME OLD CONVERSATIONS over and over and over again. I go out of my way to find and post interesting things you might not have heard about, like Jmbullion acquiring Provident, or the American Silver Eagle adopting a redesign with security features, or posts about how the Royal Canadian Mint revolutionized security features. I'm not saying I'm special, but I'm telling ya I put effort into my posts. Let's all try to do the same.

Gee, maybe we should nominate you for a Pulitzer Prize Medal. Nah! On second thought, it's not made of silver. Get over yourself.

Three brands of 1 oz. bullion rounds/bars are most popular with stackers - they carry a larger premium when bought or sold.

Top left) Engelhard prospector rounds - Top row) J-M (Johnson-Matthey) bars
    Middle) Engelhard bars
    Bottom) USVI/A-Mark chunky stacker bars
(These all make good candidates for a brief dipping - shiny bullion sells better) ;)

It's all the same in my area so I'll take what's the right price. I do prefer junk silver, especially silver dollars.

Old pour rarely ever seen silver and gold.

Those don't come around very often, SO anything that has the cool factor that I figure will go up in future value.

Personally, I'd rather see someone start a new thread. If I see something that was started a long time ago, unless it's a topic I'm very interested in, I probably wouldn't open it.
