Any cheapo 10x loupe from Amazon or eBay should be just fine.

    My #'s are: 10,9,1,8,7,2,4,11.6,5,3,12

I only got to metal detect once this year. The house I did though garnered a 1950 Roosevelt Dime, 1936 Mercury, and an 1888 Indian Head Penny.

I'd love to go metal detecting!! I live in Delaware and was given a metal detector years ago and never used it. Don't know how good or bad it is. Wouldn't mind learning from someone that may live nearby. :)

Over the last few years, I have been searching quarter rolls through my bank. I have probably searched somewhere around 200 to 250 rolls. I have picked up a nice variety of quarters, West Pointers, silver, proofs, etc. Which leads me to my question. This week, I found a 1981 S proof quarter. Nice looking with a great cameo, but severely damaged as a proof coin (scratches, normal bag marks, very small gouges.) Has it now become worth 25 cents? Does it have any value over 25 cents?

Thank you Lord Marcovan and all your contributors! Much appreciated!

The only luck I've had at a Coinstar lately was a round battery that looked like a nickle. Hope the rest of you are having better luck.

I dusted off the old IHC book. It was my first folder and truly the type that got me involved in coins as a kid. Figured it’s time to try and fill her up. Why I would choose cents, maybe the priciest collections? I don’t know. Anyone know where to find cheapo cents? I need tougher dates from the 60s and 70s. Most coins are G-F. All I can afford.
I did find an 1877 maybe AG3 at the Pennsylvania association of numismatists show about 12 years ago. Rather excited about that still.

As always thanks to all the loving donors for putting together these giveaways. And a special thanks to lordm for becoming the logistics officer.

2,9,4,6,7,5 I don’t know. They’re all great and so are you.

I've been browsing ebay recently so hopefully a nice coin will show up soon that I can post about. Calling iron nice is a bit of a hyperbole though...

I bought one nice coin this month, a 1963 Franklin 50c NGC PF66 cameo. Not very rare or valuable but it's the best Franklin I own and it's my birth year. I paid $24.00 for it and I'm happy with my purchase, so I consider it a good deal. My selections are: 9, 1, 7, 11, 12, 8 then anything left. Thanks again to all of you kind and generous donors ~ D.
