2003 Vietnam 5000 dong. Another freebie recently. I hear they no longer issue coins in Vietnam, all paper money now. Dunno if coins still circulate or not. 2003 VN 5000 d obv.JPG 2003 VN 5000 d rev.JPG

Playing from 2000. Not a recognized state, so I'll find another if there is disagreement if this qualifies. Transnistria, or Transdniestria, officially the Pridnestrovian Moldavian Republic - eastern Moldavia. I find it curious that they still use the communist imagery. Maybe they don't anymore.

Ha! lol As Bugs Bunny would say, "What a maroon!" Sorry. Hopefully this makes up for it . . . . somehow. India, both a 2003 and a 2000. So, we move forward with 2000 Albania.

I have one of those 1860 Cambodia coins too, a 10 centimes. Mine looks very rough, dunno if it is from worn out dies or perhaps this one is a forgery? The reverse looks like a casting. 1860 KH 10 c obv.JPG 1860 KH 10 c rev.JPG

From what I have read many of those Cambodia coins were made with worn and or cracked dies. Not sure what the full story is on the issue. For years I thought they were regular issue. They were listed in my copy of Yeoman' "A Catalog Of Modern World Coins". Last time I looked in The Standard Catalog Of World Coins they were missing and moved to the Unusual World Coins issue as "medallic coinage".
