I’ve always loved the detail that went into producing this series and when I came across a plain edge version......well it filled a huge void in my “must have” list. Arguably the prettiest GB coin ever!!! The plain edge is much rarer than the undecimo edge and is made of pure silver, not sterling. It has an edge knock but if it didn’t, it would have been many $$$$ more and well out of my reach Please feel free to post your Gothics or other GB crowns

Congrats. A Gothic crown is one of those types that most World coin collectors aspire to, but not all of us can afford them! I've got a holey Gothic florin. Does that count? (Might add an unholed example to the Eclectic Box one day.) 'Tis the last remnant of my formerly famous Holey Coin Vest of years gone by. Think I'm gonna put it back on the trademark hat when I reassemble that. (I still have the hat- formerly known as the "Holey Gold Hat", but I sold all of the gold coins off of it back in the recession, so it's been sitting forlorn and empty in an antique hatbox in my closet, ever since, waiting for a new lease on life. Which it will get someday.)
