Goodish tint on newer Washington Quarters

    I have found several quarters from 2000 on that have a slight goodish tint. I don't think they are plated, as you can see the copper layer from the side.     I wondered about toning, as some are only tinted around the edges fading as it needs the center.

    Just depends on the environment they are stored in. Take a nice new one and put it in the bottom of the oven the next time you use it.
