Only if they’re heads up, lol Actually, when I did it the other day, a woman said “someone in heaven must be thinking of you”, which made me think that is where the phrase ‘pennies from heaven’ comes from.
Depends upon my mood. I do take an extra second to view it from my birds eye perspective to make a quick judgement on wheatie or not though.
I was riding the bus home today, and a girl across the aisle pointed to a dollar on the floor and said "theres a dollar" I then replied, "why don't you pick it up?" She said "I don't want it" So I picked it up Pretty surprising that she didn't even want to pick up a dollar.
Find a Penny, Pick It Up and All Day Long You’ll Have Good Luck (Terms and Conditions Apply) I still pick up but not all the time. Like somebody said above, if it's on heads, yes. If not, depends on my mood.
I'll pick up any coin. Free money is hard to come by. I work on a lot of houses getting them ready to rent or sell. It's not unusual to find several dollars in change laying all over the house. I'll never understand folks like this.
At a cafeteria around here it has a high population of students. Many times when they drop change they'll only pick up the quarters, nickels but many will leave the "small" cent/dime change (in size and denomination) on the ground. I guess it's not worth it. I'd love just to wander around with a pan and broom and sweep up the coins all day long. Someone does, as it's not there if I wander by later in the day. Oddly, it seems very few people take notice as most people pay with plastic.
Yes I'd still do pick up pennies either if it's on heads or tails. that bad luck stuff about it I dont believe In it. None of the bad luck things
