Attempting to resurrect this fun thread, since we have some new people who may have missed it. Unfortunately the only amphora I've got is another Theban stater:

(Which reminds me- it's high time I grabbed another handful outta there to photograph and post. I've just been too busy lately...)

This is a fun thread that's been resurrected. Unfortunately, I've got no Silenos to play (you're up @TIF ). We should all agree to play with this thread for a week & then put it back into hibernation for a while. :)

    TIF Always learning.

    Sounds good.

I have several with Silenos. Here he is as a secondary device-- but what an awesome secondary device! Looks like a drunken Nick Nolte, which is fitting :D.

I haven't followed this thread and am unsure about what I'm supposed to do. It looks like I just pick the next topic, something at least loosely based on the coin I just posted? Okay. Next topic: Corinth.

    Corinth:
Greece Corinth Stater c400 BC Collage 1.jpg
This is a nice Corinth stater. Unfortunately, the obverse (Pegasus) is struck by an old worn obverse die. Athena gives the impression of an EF & Pegasus gives the impression of VG condition.

    Next is Dolphin :)

How about an actual dolphin-shaped coin from Olbia (in this case with a reverse inscription ΘΥ)?
