A pic of the edge would go a long way here, but in the second pic of the obverse, I think I see the tell tale mark of the use of nippers.

They both look good to me, A clipped Planchet should still have a Cut & Tear edge at the site of the Clip. And some will have the Blakesley Effect opposite the Clip. It is hard to get the light to reflect just right off the edge. Cut & Tear Edge.
why does the rim look like it was pushed in slightly versus being clipped off? The rim looks to exist beyond the inside of the curvature of where it would be. maybe i'm just seeing things .. early in the morning.
How about the bottom 2 pics edge pictures? That's actually a 1941 Lincoln that I found within 10 minutes. I should have put up a new thread. Appreciate you guys. 1 for 24... Solid batting avg for the rook. Lol
