NICE high grade pickup! Two of the four dies that struck 1916-D have RPM's, idk why they attributed it as such though.
I have never been so excited to buy a coin at a show. It will be sold... but for major money. The old ANACS photograde is in great shape. The coin is in a Cointainer(tm) brand holder. And the coin is an immaculate XF45.
It came with a bit of a story. Collector brought it to the show saying he bought it with his Dad in 1979. Couldn't remember what he paid, but said maybe $300.
Awesome. Fantastic circ contrast and eye appeal, history with the conservative grade, and the PhotoCert photos look cool to boot. What more could you ask for? Great find
That's a great story to go with a fantastic coin. Thanks for sharing it, I always get excited when someone posts a 1916-D!
