    You can't bend it back, and any attempt will make it worse than it already is.
    Even with the bend, and the cleaning (assuming it is gold) this still may be worth more than just the gold value, as $1 gold coins are desirable.

    If you put it between two pieces of ¼ inch Plexiglas and squeeze it in a vice it will flatten out, but that will not fix it.

    That's what happens when you use that deep throated stapler :D.
    Daniel Carr could probably straighten that out for you :D and yes I've been known to buy bent gold for a tic over spot.

    A tic over spot is one thing but the bidders in the link I showed have already placed bids $30 over spot today and the sale hasn't even ended yet. Also, the 1849's surfaces are shot, it's gonna be interesting to see where the sale ends. :D

    Well, if it wasn't damaged it's worth over $200.
    Gold coin melt value is only $60. But people like the $1 gold coins.
