First time in a year I’m looking at it and I found myself wowed all over again.

 

I agree with everyone else. All three coins really aren't worth owning, and I would not pay $1 a piece for them myself. I bet everyone on this thread probably owns 20 just like these that were part of junk lots they bought just for one coin. I probably have hundreds, (actually not probably, that is guaranteed).

One saying in coin collecting I have always liked. If you are not thrilled with the coin the moment you see it, chances are long term you will not enjoy owning it. I was mesmerized by my avatar when I first saw it. I no longer am, but still love the heck out of it. I have bought coins, (especially when starting out), just for the thrill of being able to buy an ancient coin. This wears off very quickly, and you need to only buy coins you LOVE, not old pieces of bronze just because they are old.

I know some like to kid me because I like group lots. However, if there are not one or two coins in a lot I REALLY want to own, I do not buy it. However, that IS the reason why I also owns lots of pieces of old junk as well.
