(He claims it's 40,890 lbs., so close enough)

Since Lincolns are technically brass for scrap purposes, say $2 per lb...

$2 x 40,890 lbs. = $81,780 (so this isn't a great deal)

Of course, no scrap yard will accept coinage anyway, so.....
