I have tried to talk myself into buying some cool copper bullion but just couldn't bring myself around to paying some of the mark up at the LCS
Yes, I collect copper bullion. Not a lot of it, but I do have some nice (to me) pieces in my collection. I know it's not worth much since it's "only" a base metal (not a precious metal), but I do find some of the coins to be very beautiful. I have: (1) set American Wildlife Series Copper rounds (in collector's box) (2) sets of each Copper Proof Zombucks rounds (1) Copper Proof Don't Tread on Me round (5) Copper Bullets (2) Copper cubes (1.25") I think they were all from Provident Metals except for the bullets, which I got from my LCS.
When i was in the Air Conditioning business 25 years ago, use to scrap #1 and #2 Grade copper, brought $1.25 and .75 Cents per pound, a nice little monthly bonus of about $750 per though its got a great cool factor, and some of the designs are just awesome there Just isnt much value from that stand point.
